Latest Weather Update

Friday, November 20, 2009 posted by Andy 8:46 pm

Hello Everyone !

I thought I better update the website so everyone knows what is happening this weekend 21/22 November 2009

Blackpool Council have closed all pitches this weekend, I was informed by the Blackpool League that pitches were closed on Sunday; however; I have not heard officially that they are closed on Saturday by the Poulton Primary League. I did hear second hand from the Fixtures Secretary that matches were off.

Under 15’s Match – Sunday – Cancelled

Under 11’s Match -Sunday – Cancelled

Under 10’s Match – Saturday – Cancelled

Staining Academy. – There has been some confusion here. We did book the all weather pitch at Beacon Hill School, only to be called friday afternoon to inform us that it had been double booked. James rang round and cancelled training  (3rd week in a row due to bad weather). We were then informed at 5pm friday that we could train indoors at Beacon Hill School, but the decision was made that this was too late and would be messing parents about, so we decided to go with our original decision that training was cancelled.

I will be rining the school on Monday morning, to find out why the pitch was double booked etc. As soon as I have more information I will let all parents know via James.

Let’s hope there is a break in the weather for next weekend, and I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Andy McDonald – Club Secretary.
